Terms of Service

This is the agreement between you and DepthCore Desenvolvimento Ltda (“DepthCore”, “we”, “us”), a Brazilian limited liability company registered under CNPJ 66.158.308/0001-78, based at R. Beethoven, 2053, Santa Catarina, Caxias do Sul/RS, CEP 95032-670, Brazil. When you create an account or subscribe to a plan, you’re agreeing to this page, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy.

We wrote this in English because most of our customers read it. If anything here conflicts with Brazilian consumer law, the law wins.

What DepthCore does

DepthCore is a subscription service that picks a faster path between your computer and your game’s servers. You install a small client, tell it which game you’re playing, and it reroutes that game’s traffic through a route with lower latency, less jitter and fewer lost packets than your normal ISP path.

Latency has physics. How much we can help depends on your local connection, your ISP and where the game server lives. We don’t promise a specific ping number or that you’ll rank up. We promise effort, honesty, and a refund if the service doesn’t actually help you.

Who can use it

You need to be 18 or older (or the legal age in your country) and able to enter into a contract. Keep your password to yourself — anything that happens in your account is treated as you. If you type something false when you sign up, or try to work around the service, we may close the account.

Price and billing

Plans are sold as recurring subscriptions, one per game. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and don’t include taxes your country might add. Your first charge starts your billing period; every period (month, quarter or year) renews automatically until you cancel.

Stripe processes every payment. They take your card details directly — we never see the card number or security code. If we ever change the price of your plan, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before the new price hits.

Cancelling

Cancel any subscription any time, from your dashboard. No phone calls, no retention scripts, no “are you sure” pop-ups. When you cancel, the subscription stops renewing and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling one game doesn’t affect the others.

Refunds

Under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, you have seven days from your first payment to ask for a full refund, for any reason. We honor that.

Beyond the legal right, we also offer a performance guarantee: if the optimization doesn’t improve your connection in the first seven days after you first subscribe to a given game, email us and we’ll refund that payment in full. The whole refund process is explained at /refunds.

What you agree not to do

The obvious ones, written out so nobody’s surprised:

• Don’t use the service to break the law, or to violate the rules of whatever game or platform you’re connecting to.
• Don’t resell the service, take the software apart, or copy our routing system.
• Don’t use it to attack, disrupt or overload anyone else’s network or systems.
• Don’t share one account with strangers, or run bots to multiply access behind a single subscription.

If we reasonably believe an account is doing any of the above, we may suspend or close it.

What belongs to us

The client software, the DepthCore name and wordmark, the routing system, and everything on this site — copy, design, icons — belong to DepthCore Desenvolvimento Ltda or the artists/companies we license from. Your subscription gives you the right to use the client app on your own computers, for your own gaming, while the subscription is active. That’s it.

The usual legal disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. We try hard, but we can’t promise the internet will always cooperate. To the extent the law lets us, the most we’ll owe you for any claim related to the service is the total you paid us for that subscription in the twelve months before the issue. We won’t owe you for things like lost rank, lost tournaments, or other indirect losses.

None of this overrides rights the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code gives you — when in doubt, the consumer law wins.

If either of us ends this

You can end the relationship by cancelling every subscription and closing your account. We can suspend or close an account right away in cases of fraud, chargeback abuse, serious violation of these Terms, or when the law requires it. Any amounts owed for services already delivered still apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update this page. If we change anything important, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.

Which law and which courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes are handled by the courts of Caxias do Sul, RS, Brazil. Brazilian consumers keep the right the Consumer Defense Code gives them to bring a claim in their own city.
