Refunds & Cancellation

We’d rather return money we didn’t earn than keep money from someone we didn’t help. This page is how that works in practice, and what the law guarantees you on top of it.
Cancel whenever you want
Every subscription has a cancel button in your dashboard. Click it — that’s the whole process. No phone calls, no retention scripts, no “are you sure” loops.
- The subscription stops renewing.
- You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Cancelling one game doesn’t affect your other subscriptions.
- We never charge a cancellation fee.
Your 7-day right under Brazilian law
If you’re a Brazilian consumer, article 49 of the Consumer Defense Code (Law 8.078/1990) gives you seven days from the day of your first payment to change your mind, for any reason at all, and get a full refund. You don’t have to explain yourself — the law doesn’t make you, and neither do we.
To use this right, email contact@deepthcore.com within seven days of the first charge, from the address on your account. Done.
Our 7-day “didn’t help” guarantee
On top of the legal right, we add a performance promise. If, in the first seven days of your first subscription to a given game, our optimization doesn’t actually improve your connection — tell us. We’ll refund that payment in full.
We’d rather hear why it didn’t help you than keep the money. Your feedback is how we get better at tuning a game.
A small note: this promise covers your first subscription to each game. If you cancel, come back months later and ask for a second performance refund on the same game, we may say no. Your 7-day legal right still applies to every fresh charge, though.
How the money actually comes back
- We refund to the card you paid with. We can’t send it to a different card or account.
- Your bank or card issuer usually posts the refund within 5 to 10 business days. That timing is on them, not us.
- We refund in the original currency you were charged (USD). If your bank converts to another currency, exchange-rate swings between the charge and the refund aren’t something we can cover.
What we can’t refund
- Charges outside the 7-day windows above — unless the law says we have to.
- Charges tied to account sharing, fraud, or other violations of our Terms of Service.
- Unused time on an annual plan you chose to cancel — you keep access until the period ends instead of getting a partial refund.
About chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, email us first — we can usually sort it out the same day. Opening a chargeback with your bank before talking to us makes it much harder to untangle, and Stripe may freeze the account while the dispute is under review. We don’t charge fees for disputes; we just ask for a chance to fix it first.
